Privacy & Security

Worthybobs takes your privacy seriously and we generally won’t share your details with anyone outside the Worthybobs Group. In some instances however it is necessary to share your details with carefully selected partners. there are certain products which are delivered direct to you from 3rd party suppliers and in instances such as this, we will pass on your details in order to fulfil your order. If you would prefer us not to share your details with anybody, but please be aware that this will mean a longer delivery time for certain items. 

Use of Cookies

The Worthybobs website uses cookies to assist in web transactions. If you would like any further information on their use please contact us. Please be aware that we do not use cookies to monitor any online activity which does not directly relate to accessing any websites which are not owned and administered by Worthybobs. 

How We Use Your Information

Worthybobs uses your personal details to process your orders, administer your account, inform you of new Worthybobs products and promotions. We will also monitor customer information to make changes to the Worthybobs web site and make decisions on future product ranges and promotions. Worthybobs will not send you SMS messages or use the telephone for marketing at any time. We will only contact you by telephone if we need to discuss your order or you have asked us to let you know when a particular item becomes available. 

We do not store your credit or debit card details at any time to ensure your financial security at all times. We only ever use your card details to process payments. For online payments we use Protx who use the latest techniques in data security and encryption to maintain your security and ensure that your information is never at risk.  Protx are a fully approved compliant provider under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and audited by an independent qualified security assessor.

Data Protection

Worthybobs is registered with the Data Protection Registrar in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.

You are of course welcome to see any information we hold on you in line with the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts. If you would like to request a copy of the information we hold on you please submit your request in writing to

Codes of Practice.

Worthybobs is a member of the National Childrenswear Association (NCWA) and we follow the codes of practice laid down by both the Mail Order Traders Association (MOTA) and the Direct Marketing Association (DMA)

Acceptance of Orders

When you finalise your online orders you enter into a contract with Claire Worthington trading as Worthybobs.

Supply

Worthybobs will generally only offer goods on their website which are available for immediate despatch. There will occasionally however be instances where items may be out of stock. In these instances you will be notified and offered the opportunity to cancel your order.

Colour Reproduction

Every care is taken to ensure that the images on this website accurately reflect the actual items. However due to limitations with photography and the fact that electronic images vary according to individual web browsers, there may be slight variations which is beyond our control. 

Substitutes

Very occasionally Worthybobs may offer substitutes for unavailable goods. We will always try to contact you about this prior to despatch. If you are unhappy with a substituted product you are welcome to return it for a full refund.

Payments

Worthybobs offers a number of payment options. Generally online orders will be paid by Paypal, credit or debit card at the time of order. Worthybobs accepts all major UK credit and debit cards. 

Gift Vouchers

Worthybobs reserves the right to withdraw the gift vouchers facility at any time. 

Special Offer Codes

These codes remain the property of Worthybobs who reserves the right to withdraw them at any time.

Deliveries

The majority of our items are delivered by Royal Mail. Worthybobs reserves the right to use a variety of suppliers in order to fulfil your orders. Worthybobs will endevour to ensure that all orders are despatched and delivered promptly but unfortunately cannot be held responsible for failures by 3rd party carriers. This also applies to the facility to have parcels delivered to a “safe place”

Delivery Charges

Worthybobs has a standard charge for each individual order and offers a next working day guaranteed delivery service. This service is charged at a premium rate. There are a small number of items available for sale which are excluded from the standard charge and charged individually. The cost of postage for these items will be clearly marked. 

Right To Cancel

As a Worthybobs customer you have the right to cancel your order for home delivery and receive a full refund. 

Worthybobs customers also have the right to return their order within 14 days of receipt in line with the Distance Selling Regulations.

The right to cancel and right to return do not apply to personalised goods, audio visual recordings or software where the seal has been broken. If you experience a problem with one of these items please contact us to discuss how we may be able to assist you.

Any free gifts which are made available on the basis of a specific purchase will need to be returned.

We will occasionally contact you with details of new products, promotions or other news from Worthybobs. If you would rather not receive letters or emails from us for this reason please let us know.
